This work proposes a new approach to solve the economic load dispatch (ELD) issue in power systems by metaheuristic algorithms inspired natural life. The problem be resolved is optimize system network with various constraints considering cutting cost of resulting transmission electric system. method used this study hunger games search (HGS). duplicates hungerdriven activity and animal's choice behavior. proposed add concept starvation as process structure. Adaptive weights based on are designed simulate effects each trace process. To get performance method, research uses mathematical methods, particle swarm optimization (PSO), differential evolution (DE), giza pyramids construction (GPC), sine tree-seed algorithm (STSA) comparison. 2 case studies. In 1, has 0.16% better generation than method. Comparison HGS PSO second study, it was found that 0.018% PSO. From research, superior.
